Our names are Dani and Taylor. Both educational psychologists in the Wellington region.
The areas of development, learning and behaviour are extremely important to us, and we are passionate about ensuring young people are able to reach their full potential as individuals in their schooling and educational endeavours. Young people can struggle with learning for a myriad of reasons, and consequently, it can be expressed in their behaviour, emotional regulation, motivation and more! We know this can be a very confusing and often challenging space for young people and their families to be in!
Our comprehensive learning assessments provide an opportunity to gain a clear understanding of a young person in their context, helping to identify what barriers are getting in the way of them reaching their potential and utilising their strengths. This may be due to a specific learning disorder, a broader cognitive impairment such as an intellectual disability, or more specific emotional or behavioural barriers impacting their learning opportunities.
Our assessments can also identify and support gifted and talented learners, as well as identify needs for NCEA special assessment conditions.
